Join us on 24th March in Faculty of International and Political Science (Street Narutowicza 59a) at 9:00 am and do not lose your opportunity to confront your opinion with others students. Because we have the right to take the floor and express our ideas!
In 2018 edition, under the official patronage of THE DELEGATION OF EUROPEAN COMMISSION IN POLAND, the subject under discussion will be:
„The future of European Union – the threats of unity and need for reforms”
You do not have to be a member of European Union Parliament to have your own ideas about UE!
You do not have to be an European citizen to express your opinion about UE!
Your courage and involvement will be prised by OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE! And the most active participant will be AWARDED additionally!

WORDS ARE SWORDS is an International Student Debate organised by the Erasmus Student Network at the University of Łódź. It lasts one day and allows both INTERNATIONAL and POLISH students to take part in a discussion of committees which are backed by the help of professors.
The topic of the 2018 edition of Words Are Swords is:
„THE FUTURE OF EUROPEAN UNION – THREATS OF UNITY AND NEED FOR REFORMS”
Because of that, we have an official patronage of THE DELEGATION OF EUROPEAN COMMISSION IN POLAND!
So your participation and involvement will be prised by OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE! And the most active participant will be AWARDED additionally!

– Social And Cultural
PROGRAMME OF DEBATE:
- 09:00 – 09:30 Welcome participants
- 09:30 – 10:30 The official opening of the Debate
3.10:30 – 14:45 Discussion in committees
- 10:30 – 11:15 Discussion in committees with professors
- 11:15 – 11:30 Coffe break
- 11:30 – 12:15 Discussion in committees with professors
- 12:15 – 12:30 Coffe break
- 12:30 – 13:15 Discussion in committees without professors
- 13:15 – 14:00 Lunch break
- 14:00 – 14:45 Discussion in committees without professors
- 14:45 – 16:00 General Assembly
- Every committee has 10 min. to present their proposals
- And 10 min to answer the questions of other participants
6.16:00 – 16:30 – The official closing of the Debate
The Debate language will be English.
Participants can use their own laptops to make a powerpoint presentation to present their proposals.
You do not have to be a member of European Union Parliament to have your own ideas about UE!
You do not have to be a European citizen to express your opinion about UE!
You just need to have your own will to show what you think!
