Who is it for?
Project is dedicated for students and graduates of Łódź universities (up to 12 months from graduation) who want to gain professional experience.
Where?
Every year the best employers from Łódź offer between 200 and 400 internship places in various sections,including business,technology,administration and manufacturing.
When?
Holiday internships „Work as an apprentice in Łódź” are carried out from June to September every year.
Is it paid?
All internships in „Work as an apprentice in Łódź” programme are paid. Employer is obliged to signed a civil law contract with a student and pay for each month of the internship.
How to apply?
- All holiday internships offers are available during the time of recruitment at www.praktyki.lodz.pl
- Choose an offer and send your CV or letter of application. Some of the offers require, for example, a portfolio – please add link to your website or access to portfolio in the CV or letter of application.
- Each candidate can appy for max 10 offers within the framework of the project, but may carry out only one internship.
Recruitment:
Canditates applications are accepted in April every year.
2 stages of selection:
After the initial selection by the internship organizer, employers conduct individual interviews with selected best candidates. The company also has the opportunity to receive access to all applications for the offers and to carry out verification and selection. Employers decide on the final selection of the interns.
Results:
The official announcement of laureates of the internship programme takes place in mid-June.

The effects so far:
Over 750 Lodz companies that employed over 2 870 interns during the holiday season took part in 15 editions of the project. In total, over 66 230 applications have been submitted! After the internship, over 85% of interns receive an employment offer from the employers.
