The Role

A brand new position has arisen within McCormick Talent Acquisition team due to the continued growth and success of the business. The role will involve working closely with the Talent Acquisition in Poland shared services and the Talent Acquisition Director in UK supporting on all administration related queries for the function.

Main Responsibilities

  • Posting job advertisements on a variety of platforms from job boards and social media through to the McCormick careers page.
  • Regular liaison with applicants to McCormick both via email and over the phone.
  • Updating the Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist with regular progress reports.
  • Initial CV shortlisting to identify suitable applicants, uploading of candidate details/CV to the database, coding and allocation to suitable vacancies.
  • Responding to incoming telephone enquiries from clients and candidates and offering support (where able) in the absence of Talent Acquisition members.
  • Reporting of metrics and logging all recruitment related activities.
  • Utilising an applicant tracking system to record all incoming applications and build a talent network of potentially suitable applicants for the business.
  • Conducting market research to identify potential talent for headhunting purposes.
  • Working closely with other members of the HR team to ensure a seamless recruitment.
  • Booking meeting rooms and scheduling interviews with both hiring managers and candidates alike.
  • Monitor applications for the region, ensuring that all CV’s have been reviewed and actioned as swiftly as possible.
  • Arrange interviews for short listed candidates, send invitations and collate prep/materials required by interview panel
  • Arrange further stages of recruitment process as needed (inc.further interviews, initiating psychometric tests etc.)
  • Provides instructions for reimbursement at the time of interview, reviews receipts and claim form before submitting for payment, and communicates claim status as applicable .
  • Supports any external recruitment events and activities as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the internal communication about recruitment, i.e. circulate current vacancies and manage the referral scheme
  • Provide general administration support to the Recruitment team e.g. raising Purchase Orders and administering tests to external candidates
  • Participate in ad-hoc recruitment projects as and when required
  • Participate in projects across the Talent Acquisition disciplines as required and directed to support achievement of business objectives

  • Adaptable individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment and enjoys a challenge
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in HR / Talent Acquisition
