Reconciling International Bank’s Accounts.

Would you like to monitor foreign currency payments flow on Nordea accounts kept in foreigh banks? We are now looking for a Junior Process Officer / Process Officer in Payment Services who will be responsible for nostro and intragroup accounts daily reconciliation and reporting.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Nostro Reconciliation team. We add value by monitoring Nordea cash flows on external and internal bank accounts kept in c.a. 50 foreign currencies, securing bank liquidity and proper customers transactions flow. As Junior Process Officer / Process Officer in Payment Services you’ll play a valuable role by conrolling possible breaks on accounts, investigating reasons of such discrepances, monitor currency transactions flow, reporting and supporting internal and external stakeholders in closing them.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Daily reconciliation of dedicated accounts
  • Matching corresponding items
  • Investigating reasons of discrepancies
  • Reporting open transactions to responsible units for closing
  • Reporting overdrafts and high balances on external Nostro accounts
  • Preparing and analysing reports for internal stakeholders and auditors.

  • Know (or would like to know) banking settelments and payments rules and way off effecting transactions on international market.
  • Like working with excel,
  • Poses some balcherors or banking background
  • You are improvement oriented.

Your experience and background:

  • You are familiar with international payments processing
  • You know basic tools or types of settlements in international trade financing.
  • Would like to develop your analithical and negotiation skills.
  • Would like do work with ower than 100 stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • You like working with numbers, reports, analizes and detailed data.
