We are now looking for a Assistant/Service Operations Officer to take responsibility of a wide range of back office tasks connected with structured derivatives trading. This includes validating incoming complex derivative trades and ensuring correct and timely trade documentation and settlements.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Complex OTC Derivatives team. We add value by ensuring seamless and high quality services for Nordea Markets towards primarily large corporate and institutional clients with whom we trade. As Assistant/Service Operations Officer you’ll play a valuable role in ensuring on-time deliveries of confirmations, settlements and deal capture validation, and provide sparring to traders in Nordea Markets.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Validating that trades are economically correct and fulfil requirements set out in product approval
  • Immersing yourself into trade documentation linked to different lifecycle events primarily using the ISDA legal framework
  • Maintaining trades throughout the lifecycle

You’ll join a highly professional, dedicated and international cross-border team currently consisting of people from five different countries. The daily business language is English both intra-team and with stakeholders. The role is based in Łódź.

Your experience and background:

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Basic understanding within derivatives and fast learning capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with reconciliation of documentation, cash flows or other data.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably within Finance or Economics.
